About WhisperNet

A Digital Civic Intelligence and Early Warning System developed under the PEACELINK 360 initiative.

"Turning Whispers Into Peace"

Our Story

WhisperNet was conceived by the Kisii University Flamingo Kings under the PEACELINK 360 initiative. It emerged from the critical need to bridge the gap between community-level conflict indicators and response agencies. By leveraging mobile and web technologies, WhisperNet empowers everyday citizens to act as early warning nodes, ensuring that localized tensions are reported and managed before escalations occur.

The Problem We're Solving

Many conflicts in local communities are preceded by observable indicators—hate speech, political incitement, or ethnic mobilization. However, fear of retaliation, lack of trusted reporting channels, and delayed institutional responses often prevent citizens from speaking out. WhisperNet solves this by providing a completely anonymous, secure, and direct early warning system.
